Welcome to the Iowa City campus Writing Center!
You will need to first register for an account on the left side of this screen in order to view the schedule and select appointment days and times. While not required, we strongly urge you to create an account using your Kirkwood email.
Remember that you can make a Writing Center appointment at any phase of the writing process, even before you have an actual draft. You can also bring in any type of writing--academic papers, scholarship essays, cover letters for jobs, transfer or study abroad applications, poetry, and fiction. We're happy to help you with all of it! Even if you're simply looking for ideas on how to start a piece of writing, come see us.
We meet with one student at a time in Room 134. A computer and printer are available there, if you need to print your writing out for the appointment.
